Our retirement farm auction is just around the corner! 

Wednesday, February 13 we will be selling an array of Tractors, a Combine, Crop Sprayer, Corn Planter and much more through a live auction. 

Owner, Jeff Ditmire has decided to retire from farming and will be selling his equipment through a live auction in Culver, Indiana.

Meet our team: Chuck Ranney

Our team is made up of individuals that come from array of backgrounds with a long list of past experiences that help them in their job today! Chuck Ranney, our Vice President of Operations is a face well known throughout Miedema Auctioneering. Chuck has been with Miedema Auctioneering since 2004 when he was first hired as setup personnel for our auctions. Chuck came to Miedema Auctioneering with a long list of expertise as Chuck previous work careers ranged from a tow truck driver & mechanic, to service manager and tire shop owner. After years of setting up auctions Chuck knew it was time to spread his wings and learn the trade of bid-calling! With the help of co-owner of Miedema Auctioneering, Scott Miedema, Chuck quickly learned the technique of calling bids & was soon at the mic calling bids like a pro! Chuck’s knowledge and experience gleaned from prior jobs helped to make him a well rounded, knowledgeable auctioneer. Chuck specializes in live auction events consisting of construction equipment, industrial equipment, farm equipment and real estate. Chuck has traveled across the U.S. providing critical leadership and management of many high profile auctions, liquidating millions of dollars of assets. Chuck also devotes his time to charity events, calling bids at benefit auctions about 10-15 times per year.

Our History

Miedema Auctioneering was founded and our first live auction was held in 1984. Then, in 1987, Miedema Auctioneering, Inc. was incorporated by founders Sid Miedema Sr., Sid Miedema Jr. and Scott Miedema. Over the past 30 years, we’ve worked diligently to earn a reputation for honesty and integrity in the auction industry, and have become know for conducting highly successful auction sales and accurate appraisals. Bader & Sons Co. 27th Annual Auction

Mark your calendars as our 27th Annual Bader & Sons Co. Annual Auction is right around the corner!

This annual auction features used equipment from Bader & Sons Co., a John Deere dealership. Used trade-in equipment from all their locations will all be sold to the highest bidder.

The Auction will start with 2 auctioneers selling at the same time. Ring 1 – Main Farm Equipment, Ring 2 – Misc. Farm Equipment. At noon we will sell the combines, truck and trailers; and lawn & garden. After the combines sell we will finish selling Ring 1. After the lawn and garden equipment sells, we will finish selling Ring 2. We are offering the Main Ring 1 – Large Farm Equipment and the Lawn Mower Ring – Lawn & Garden equipment with Live/onine bidding through Proxibid.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST: There will be a free pancake breakfast before the auction from 7AM-9AM on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the Bader & Sons Co. building behind the store, compliments of Bader & Sons Co. & Miedema Auctioneering, Inc.

Consignments for this auction are welcome! Sellers are welcome to bring their equipment Monday &Tuesday between 8:00am and 5:00pm and Wednesday by noon.
